Sweeney’s Launches a New Victorian Government Research Site

The Department of Business and Innovation has been tracking community attitudes to and engagement with science since its benchmark study in 2007. In 2011 the Department commissioned Sweeney Research to undertake a state-wide survey of adult Victorians.

The full 2011 research report, entitled Community Interest and Engagement with Science and Technology in Victoria 2011, is available online here

The report was launched by Charlie Coulton from Sweeney Research and representatives from The Department of Business and Innovation (Victoria), at a recent major Science conference in Sydney. It has quickly become the go to destination for information on Attitudes to Science in Australia.
